What is the difference between moving time and total time?
Total time is the duration from the moment you hit start on your device or phone to the moment you finish the workout.
It includes stoplights, coffee breaks, bathroom stops, and stopping for photos. Moving time, however, is a measure of
how long you were active. XOSS will attempt to calculate this based on your workouts GPS locations, distance, and speed.
Why is my workouts moving time different than my friend's?
XOSS relies on GPS data when recording cycling workouts to determine whether or not you are moving. A bad GPS connection
could lead to false positives if your workouts GPS data tells XOSS that you are moving when you aren't.
Things like GPS drift, GPS signal loss, or a 'jumpy' GPS track can also cause your workout to report more or less
distance than you actually traveled. If, for example, your bad GPS data tells XOSS that you traveled a longer distance
than your friend in the same amount of time, you can expect different average speed calculations.
Why is my max speed so high?
XOSS calculates your max speed so that a GPS error can cause the value to be greater than expected. XOSS looks for
the fastest speed recorded between any two GPS coordinates on your workout to calculate max speed.
