Plug the device into an external power source using the power/data cable.

Press and hold the power button until the device powers off (hold for up to 30 seconds).

Release the power button.

If the power/data cable does not power the device back on automatically, unplug it from the power source and plug it back in or press the power button.
Are the Charging Contact Points in Working Condition?
Ensure your cable is not damaged and the charging pins are free of debris, and corrosion, and are all at the same height. Replace the cable if necessary.
Check the charging port on the device for damage, debris, or corrosion. Use a pencil eraser or a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol to clean them and allow them to air dry.
